Winter recital

Friday, December 12, 2014

This year the dance studio Madeline attends decided to include the Children's Program in with their larger Winter recital.  Instead of wearing decorated t-shirts over their leotards and performing at the studio, they wore costumes and joined some of the older girls at a local school.  To say that she was excited would be an understatement.
Her class performed a ballet number to "Let It Snow".  She also performed in an opening scene with a few of the older girls and then helped out with their props.

Caleb was gracious enough to use my phone to capture a video of the performance.  (Madeline is second from the left. Also, please ignore my camera clicking away in the background. lol)

Of course she loved receiving flowers after her performance, and the fancy dinner on the water that followed wasn't bad either.

We love you Madeline!  You are a joy to watch. :)

About This Blog

This blog is the place where shared our lives while waiting to bring our daughters Madeline and Havi home from China. (Our son Caleb was already home before this blog began.) It is now the place where we continue to share our life experiences, both big and little, as we try to glorify God and raise our 3 dumplings from China.

Feel free to join us as we journey through life, while I try to capture our days...
