Gotcha Day photos

Here they are!!!! The photos you all have been waiting for. Our precious girl is so beautiful, scared yet so brave...and much bigger than we thought. It was hard for Caleb to hear Madeline cry. So he spent time hanging out with the Drewes family when it got rough. We were so thankful for their presence. It made quite a difference for Caleb. We are so in love with our girl! Enjoy!!!!!!!

Our final family of 3 photo, anxiously waiting to be united with Madeline

Bless her sweet heart. She is so beautiful. I love the outfit. Iris had the same one only in orange. Did she have the little pink sandels? I can't wait to hear all about it.
Enjoy your time as a new family of four. Praise be to GOD.

What a blessing and a thrill for you and us! She is just a doll, and looks very comfortable on mommy's lap. Can't wait to meet her. You are a beautiful family for sure!

So so SO happy for you!!!! It reminds me SO much of Brady's gotcha day and all the fear. And the potty accidents!! Try sitting her right on the potty every so often--she'll probably go, Brady would go poo on the potty right from the beginning like that. It was pretty clear he was trained already--some of the kids I guess you can give them a little squeeze on the shoulder and that will even signal they need to go! Anyway, SO excited for you!!!! She is beautiful!!!

Mazal Tov--she is quite a cutie and I am sure it will not be long till she acclimates to being a new American girl.

Oh, how beautiful! I'm so glad you are all together.

She reminds me of Joy when she has that unsure look on her face.

Tell me when I can stop crying from joy... I don't think that I can... I am so happy for you all... she is so precious... poor Caleb hope that he is ok now and that Madeline isn't crying... can't tell you how great this is and can't wait to meet her when things settle down... hugs...

About This Blog

This blog is the place where shared our lives while waiting to bring our daughters Madeline and Havi home from China. (Our son Caleb was already home before this blog began.) It is now the place where we continue to share our life experiences, both big and little, as we try to glorify God and raise our 3 dumplings from China.

Feel free to join us as we journey through life, while I try to capture our days...
