Paperchase update

News on the adoption front...

Our home study is almost ready to send off
to our placing agency for review.
Once there, it'll take about two weeks to get approved.
Then we'll finally get to send off our I-800A.
I know I said before that I'm not really motivated to do our paperwork
this time around.  And I'm still not.
But I'm excited that, some time this summer, it will be completed, and
we'll be DTC!
Woot!

And since I have a hard time posting without photos,
here are a few from what we've been doing a lot of lately.

Swimming.

Who knows?
Maybe next summer we'll have three "fish" in the pool!
Or are they whales? Or dolphins?
Maybe Madeline will enlighten us.

Have a great weekend!

I don't like doing paper work either. :) But I hope you will finish it soon! ;)

Lovely photos, especially the last one, it's incredibly sharp!

LOL! I'm sure Madeline will keep you on track :-)

I loathe paperwork too, I totally get it! It took my forever to get my rear in gear to get our dossier off to China!

Great action shot on that last one. The colors are so vibrant. I like your "style"! Good luck in the paper work!

Good luck I hope you'll have more fish in the water soon too! Great pics as always! Your little ones are so stinkin' cute!

I LOVE the one of your little girl jumping. There's something spectacular about it!! And I agree... paperwork stinks. But, waiting, to me, stinks even more. We're patiently waiting for our referral! Or, as patiently as possible, at least. xoxo!!

Aw, good luck to you! Paper work is never fun and I always procrastinate.

Love your gorgeous photos. Looks like lots of fun!!

Love these pics! Can't wait to hear the news that you are DTC!!! Yes, are they dolphins or whales or fish or sharks? I'll ask Madeline ;)

Gorgeous shots!! Keeping fingers crossed that you can add another fishie to the school!!

Dolphins for sure...that leap is definitely dolphinesque.

And the paperwork? Ugh. Hard enough to do it when you are doing it for the first time and are childless. Add in two busy (and beautiful) kids and it is not surprising you are not motivated. But progress is being made nonetheless.

Well that is exciting about things progressing along. :)

Love your little fish- looks like so much fun.

How exciting!!! Can't wait to hear more about your journey to your third blessing!
God Bless,
Diane

Glad you are moving forward through the hoops! I'm sure the paperwork is very intensive. Press on!

The swimming pictures are so cute! Did you get your expo? Got a tiny tutorial on Tuesday. Nothing you probably won't already know by then. :)

I love the photos. All of that paperwork has to be difficult. It will all be worth it, though. ;)

Hi Eva! Thanks so much for the kind words you left on our blog. Congratulations on your adoption!

We have just completed our Dossier and are hoping to be DTC this coming week... Yay!

Hoping the rest of your paperwork goes smoothly... Looking forward to following along!

Have a lovely week ahead.
Jess

How exciting!! I've heard from friends how much paperwork there is in adoption so I don't blame you on the lack of motivation - but how EXCITING to have three little ones to love! Happy for you - and love these photos. Especially the one of your girl jumping! Perfection!

About This Blog

This blog is the place where shared our lives while waiting to bring our daughters Madeline and Havi home from China. (Our son Caleb was already home before this blog began.) It is now the place where we continue to share our life experiences, both big and little, as we try to glorify God and raise our 3 dumplings from China.

Feel free to join us as we journey through life, while I try to capture our days...
